ACT Obtains FM Approval 
for SafetyFluid Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluids.

Howell, Michigan - October 14, 2022 – American Chemical Technologies Inc. (ACT), is pleased to announce the achievement of Factory Mutual (FM) 6930 Approval for their complete line of SafetyFluid Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluids.


FM certification demonstrates ACT’s commitment to producing high performance fire-resistant industrial fluids, that are designed to meet the most rigorous standards of property loss prevention and safety. This achievement is only the latest in ACT’s lineage of product innovation. ACT first introduced a 100% polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluid to the industrial market over 32 years ago.


The new SafteyFluid line of Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluids include the following products and applications; SafetyFluid FR - anhydrous, fire-resistant hydraulic fluids; SafetyFluid EHC - long-life, fire-resistant fluid for the Power Generation market; and SafetyFluid WGF - conventional and high-performance water-glycol fluids.
